The Show

June 8th, 2008

The history of The Average Joe Show goes back to October 20, 2007 when Corey’s launching website podcastartup.com was looking for male co-hosts for a roundtable discussion of current events and other interesting stories in the news.

Several dozen men offered their services to the ‘as-of-yet-unnamed’ podcast, yet only 3 were selected from them. In late December 2007, Ward Miller, Charlie George, and Preston Smith were chosen as the co-hosts of The Average Joe Show.

In early January 2008, several meetings were done, over Skype, to discuss the format and style of the show. And on February 2nd at 11:30pm Eastern time the first ever episode of the podcast was recorded. It was released the next afternoon on Feb 3rd, 2008 to the World Wide Web.
